My work is informed by various roles I’ve held throughout my career. I’ve worked as an outdoor educator, high school English teacher, school leadership consultant, writing coach and therapist. Throughout, I’ve supported people through growth and change, deepening relationships with self and others, and learning to navigate the uncertainty and turbulence of the lifecycle.

As a therapist, I am collaborative, present and direct. We all possess the extraordinary capacity to heal in the face of past and current struggles. We can connect with a self that can help us have what we want and need. I provide a space for expression and understanding that strengthens this inner foundation and opens new ways of being and relating.

I earned a bachelors from Harvard University in History and Literature, a masters in teaching from Brown University, and a masters in mental health counseling from Alfred University.  I have advanced training in couples therapy for the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy, psychodynamic group therapy from the Center for Group Studies, and perinatal mental health from the Seleni Institute and the Postpartum Stress Center.
